The Vijay-Murugadoss combo is ON again ... Is it Thuppakki 2?

The media has been abuzz with news that the Thuppakki combo of Vijay and director A.R.Murugadoss is joining hands again for a project. Murugadoss has now confirmed this bit in a recent statement by saying that he and Vijay had even discussed about their future project. This won’t be Thuppakki 2 as widely expected by fans, but a different project about which other details have to be worked out in the coming months.

Vijay is currently busy with Thalaivaa and Jilla after that, while Murugadoss is occupied with the Hindi remake of Thuppakki featuring Akshay Kumar and supposedly titled Pistol.

This development has got Vijay fans jumping in excitement indeed.

Even Shankar is expecting a Vijay - Lingusamy alliance

During the informal success party that Vijay had hosted in his house after the release of Thuppakki, director Lingusamy was also present among the guest list and on that occasion, Vijay had expressed his interest to join hands with Lingusamy during a chat. Even blockbuster director Shankar had inquired with interest about a possible Vijay - Lingusamy combo in the near future.

Lingusamy said that Vijay fans too, had expressed their wish to see the director working with their favorite star soon. He also believes that his equation with Vijay would work out and is eagerly waiting for this union to happen soon.
