Naalaiya Theerpu is a Tamil film directed by S. A. Chandrasekharand produced by his wife Shoba Chandrasekhar which marked the debut of the their son Vijay in the lead role alongside Keerthana. The film which also featured Srividya, Radharavi and Sarath Babu, had music composed by newcomer Manimekalai and editing by Gautham Raju. The film was released on 11 December 1992 to negitive reviews.[1][2]

Production
Vijay made his debut as a leading actor with the film, aged just eighteen.[3] The film featured lyrics written by music director Bharani.[4]
