the-biggest-suspense-in-vijays-thalaivaa-photos-pictures-stills
The biggest suspense in the Vijay directed and the Vijay starrer Thalaivaa is the role Sathyaraj plays, it seems. The answer to the question whether Sathyaraj is the godfather of Vijay or the villain in the film, will change the course of the story, divulged the director.
Director Vijay has also revealed an interesting incident that happened during the Mumbai schedule, involving the veteran actor. “It was the time Bal Thackeray was sick and his people were on protests. They came to the sets while I wasn’t there and asked my team to stop the shoot and clear the area. But, Sathyaraj stepped in strongly and with sheer sternness told the protestors that he and the team wouldn’t move until the director calls it a wrap up,” narrated an amazed Vijay. The group couldn’t do anything about it and supposedly left the area without being able to achieve their motive.

“Every scene in Thalaivaa will be as explosive as an RDX,” boasts director Vijay in his recent interview with a leading magazine. The director promises that the film will be packed with style, actions, mass and emotions. He is also confident that Thalaivaa would satisfy the expectations people have post the success of Thuppakki.

The director also narrates the story of roping in Vijay for this project. “Impressed with my Madrasapattinam, Vijay called me and said that we should do a project together. The plan didn’t materialize until I met Chandraprakash Jain, who had the dates of Vijay,” explains director Vijay. Later he fixed an appointment with the actor and narrated the story to him. “I began my story by saying that the title ‘Thalaivan’ must always come in search of us. And 15 minutes later, Vijay smiled and shook my hands. He was then officially on board!” recollects director Vijay.

The media has been abuzz with news that the Thuppakki combo of Vijay and director A.R.Murugadoss is joining hands again for a project. Murugadoss has now confirmed this bit in a recent statement by saying that he and Vijay had even discussed about their future project. This won’t be Thuppakki 2 as widely expected by fans, but a different project about which other details have to be worked out in the coming months.

Vijay is currently busy with Thalaivaa and Jilla after that, while Murugadoss is occupied with the Hindi remake of Thuppakki featuring Akshay Kumar and supposedly titled Pistol.

This development has got Vijay fans jumping in excitement indeed.

vijay-photos-pictures-stills-27During the informal success party that Vijay had hosted in his house after the release of Thuppakki, director Lingusamy was also present among the guest list and on that occasion, Vijay had expressed his interest to join hands with Lingusamy during a chat. Even blockbuster director Shankar had inquired with interest about a possible Vijay - Lingusamy combo in the near future.

Lingusamy said that Vijay fans too, had expressed their wish to see the director working with their favorite star soon. He also believes that his equation with Vijay would work out and is eagerly waiting for this union to happen soon.

We are waiting too!!

veteran-joins-vijay-for-jilla-photos-pictures-stillsActress Poornima Bhagyaraj is on a comeback mode. As we had earlier reported, the veteran actress is doing a pivotal part in Suseendran’s Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer. Now we have come to the understanding that she has also signed a biggie.

The actress will be a part of Vijay starrer Jilla. The news was confirmed by Shanthanoo Bhagyaraj through his twitter post- “Yes my mom is acting with Vijay Anna & Mohan Lal sir in Jilla. Super happy that my mom is getting such good projects in her return after 28yrs.”

Meanwhile, Nesan’s Jilla will go on floors in May. Kajal Aggarwal will play the female lead and Imman will work on the music.

Just as Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay and director Vijay are all set to leave for Australia for a schedule of Thalaivaa, the team recently shot a racy thumping number in Chennai at the popular shooting destination, Binny Mills. Sources say that the main attraction of this song would be that it features not one or two, but six item dancers, one of which is apparently Kiran, not the ‘Villain’ heroine but a popular dancer from the North.

The team is super confident that the song as well as the visuals will go down well with the fans. It seems like the producers are leaving no stone unturned to ensure that the output of the film is as grand as possible. Previously the unit shot for the film’s title track ‘Thalaivaa Thalaivaa’ featuring nearly 250 dancers and the director is said to be extremely pleased with what he has captured.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is busy wrapping up Thalaivaa shoot and will join his next movie Jilla under Nesan's direction. Jilla is Tamil-Malayalam bilingual and Malayalam superstar Mohan Lal is performing a prominent role. Meanwhile the latest buzz is that Nisha Agarwal, sister of Kajal Agarwal has joined the Jilla team and has been roped as Mahat Raghavendra's pair.
After having played urban characters in his recent films like Nanban, Thuppakki and even his upcoming Thalaivaa, Vijay will be seen in a rural Madurai avatar in Jilla and he will even mouth his dialogs in the local dialect for the desired nativity. The director Nesan is from Madurai and he wills to explore this place more through Jilla. He also feels that Vijay hasn’t played such a character before. It must be noted that Vijay had acted in a film by the name Madhurey in 2004. Jilla is being planned for a Pongal 2014 release
There are more additions to the cast list of Vijay’s Jilla, directed by Nesan. Nisha Aggarwal, the younger sister of Kajal, will be Mahat’s pair in the film. It must be noted that Mahat plays Vijay’s younger brother in the film and Kajal is Vijay’s pair in the film. It sure is a good casting coup.

More comedians are part of the mix too, in the form of VTV Ganesh, Powerstar, Kovai Sarala in addition to the already present Soori and Thambi Ramaiah.

Jilla sure looks like a healthy entertainer, in the making.
